60th Anniversary Celebration

What a marvellous weekend – our 60th!  A Hearty THANK YOU to all planners, organizers, and participants.  There were four separate events to enjoy:  the Hot Dog neighborhood Luncheon on the lawn – the festive Saturday Night Banquet at the Seniors’ Centre – Sunday worship with Bishop Larry Kochendorfer present and preaching – fellowship after worship.  Each event had special features for which we were delighted and remain thankful – picture albums and displays, a remembrance booklet in colour, music and singing, special napkin holders, beautiful flowers, a Good Shepherd cake which we all felt a bit guilty cutting, our new Here by Grace banner, the presence of charter members and friends, former pastors, kind words, a very fine M.C., etc.  It was all a delight, and I have likely overlooked a thank you to some one.  All we do now is - wait, wait, wait – to see how “the drone” did.  Will it have caught us all smiling?  Happy 60th everyone!  Pastor Tom
